neil denari architects is useful + agreeable...

useful + agreeable (www.ua.tv) design and travel broadband tv and magazine, which was in los angeles recently, features "the great cities of the world and the people who make them great". in each city, u+a has featured leading local icons in design, fashion and other creative disciplines, including their insights into the cities in which they live.

useful + agreeable seeks out subjects who reflect that simple dictum, exhibiting innovation and ideas from which our viewers around the world can derive inspiration.

u+a spoke with neil denari about his cinematic approach to architecture, "visual ergonomics" and his insights into los angeles. we discussed specifically the firm's work for progressive and design-conscious hollywood talent agency, endeavor, as well as other earlier projects, such as the iconic l.a. eyeworks flagship store.

in a u+a tv interview shot on location within this denari design, we spoke with l.a. eyeworks founders gai gherardi and barbara mcreynolds about the process of working with denari in the creation of their now famous store on los angeles' beverly boulevard.

currently in new york, nmda's 13-storey residential building commission is underway next to the high-line in chelsea. in addition, the firm is actively completing a series of 13 banks in japan for the mitsubishi united financial group. we plan to bring these to you in future issues of useful + agreeable...

we hope you enjoy the features.
